the Hexagon Metrology Precision Center in Wixom, Michigan in April 2005.

The Hexagon
Metrology Precision Center offers three high-technology
temperature-controlled laboratories for calibration and repair, a large
demonstration facility, multiple training rooms and additional office
space. Relocation of our sales, marketing, training, and service
operations to this modern facility allows us to provide the services
and support expected by our current and future customers.
"ROMER is continuing to build on its record performance of 2004 and has
outgrown our two facilities in Farmington Hills," said Tom Moran, ROMER
Inc. President. "The Hexagon Precision Center is close to our customers
and provides a large, modern facility for our expanding marketing,
sales, service, and R&D activities."
Romer Inc. was purchased by Hexagon AB in August 2004. It is part of
the Hexagon Metrology Group that also includes Brown & Sharpe, DEA,
TESA, Leitz, Romer SA, CE Johansson, and metrology software developers
Wilcox Associates and Mirai.
"ROMER's move to the Hexagon Precision Center will consolidate a broad
range of Hexagon Metrology Group's resources in a central location near
automotive OEMs and major suppliers," said Bill Gruber, President,
Hexagon Metrology North America. "ROMER has a number of R&D
projects under way and the larger space in Wixom will give the company
the flexibility to add staff and other resources to see these projects
to completion."
The Hexagon Metrology Precision Center is located at 51170 Grand River Ave., Wixom, MI 48393. Telephone (800) 218-7125.
