The Tube Inspection Station (TIS) lets you choose the tools you need to inspect everything from hydraulic tubing to exhaust pipe. When used with the optional magnetic base, the system is the only portable tube inspection system on the market.

Typical equipment needed for accurate, affordable tube inspection includes a STINGER or INFINITE portable CMM, inspection table, computer, DOCS® software and various accessories. Non-contact infrared tube probes are available for measuring wire to 150mm tubes.

This package will determine tube lengths, bend angles, tube spring-back and corrected bend data. The data, including both absolute and incremental length rotation and angle data, can be output in a variety of formats, or even send corrected bend data directly to a tube bending machine using the Tube Shop Manager module of DOCS software.

ROMER's non-contact infrared tube probes are suitable for measuring from wire to 150 mm (6 in.) tubes. These intelligent probes are changeable on-the-fly without tools or the need to recalibrate.

When used with the optional magnetic base, the Tube Inspection System can be taken to the workpiece to measure pipes, lines, hoses and tubes in place, thereby saving time and effort.

Reverse engineering tube geometry for replacement parts is fast and straightforward: you can even do it in-place on the assembly without removing the tube.
