ROMER SpaceLOK

SpaceLOK SystemROMER is proud to introduce the patent-pending SPACELOK™, a technology innovation that increases the volumetric measuring area of your ROMER portable CMM by a factor of 2.5 without increasing arm measuring uncertainty.

After referencing the ROMER arm to one of the three SPACELOK facets, the arm can be repositioned and re-referenced to another facet without losing coordinate reference. SPACELOK enhances measuring accuracies since all point locations are known and there is no accumulative error when relocating within the measurement volume, as found in the 'leapfrog method.'

SpaceLOK ScanSPACELOK is ideal for measuring both external and internal volumes such as cockpits, fuselages, trailers, fiberglass hulls, truck beds and bodies, cradles and machine bases.

Specifications include:

  • Volumetric repeatability for SPACELOK is ± .002 in. The SPACELOK does not effect arm accuracy.
  • SPACELOK is compatible with ROMER's 8-, 9-, 10- and 12 ft. STINGER II series and INFINITE™ portable CMMs.
  • SPACELOK is available in a permanently assembled or portable configuration. The portable configuration allows the SPACELOK to be easily transported from job-site to job-site.
