Leica T-Scan high-speed hand scanner

The Leica TS50 T-Scan™ is a one-of-a-kind hand-held scanner for high-speed digitization and surface inspection without the need for powdering or photogrammetric targets – ideal for clay, foam, textiles and metallic surfaces. The unit works in conjunction with a Leica Laser Tracker, which tracks the position and orientation of the scanner in 6 Degrees of Freedom (6DoF).

Set-up times are minimal, and there is no need for photogrammetric targets. By projecting a laser beam point by point, the Leica T-Scan high-speed hand scanner uses flying dot scanning to digitizes all types of surfaces.  

Other improvements include optimized marker positions for more accurate 6DOF (6 Degrees of Freedom) readings over the full range of scanner positions, especially when scanning parts with difficult geometries. In addition, the Leica T-Scan boasts "Instant Temperature Compensation" for measurements in almost any environment.
